Why Khoj exists

A small business from Bengaluru, built around one question: why doesn't tea have the same flavour complexity as everything else we drink?

Khoj is a tea brand founded by Shruti Bhatnagar in Bengaluru, built on the idea that tea deserved the same flavour complexity as coffee or cocktails. Every blend mixes real botanicals like flowers, fruit peels, and spices into six distinct cups, each developed, blended, and shipped from Bengaluru.

Why Khoj exists

I spent a year dutifully drinking green tea and never once looked forward to it. The same was true for everyone around me.

I looked at coffee, endless flavour profiles, something for every mood, every time of day. Then cold drinks. Then cocktails. All of them had figured out complexity and layered taste. Tea somehow hadn't.

So I started mixing. Flowers with fruit peels. Spices with leaves. Different botanicals to see what a single cup could carry. Six blends later, Khoj is what I couldn't find anywhere, and what I now drink every day.
